A Great Time for Eclipse, DocOrigin, CCC
Here is a quick review of the conferences we participated in during the last half of the year.
PDF Days – PDF Association Conference – Berlin – June
Steve Luke, Eclipse Corporation CEO and Alex Reiss, Eclipse Corporation CTO attended this conference at the amazing new GLS Campus in the heart of Berlin. Over 150 attendees from all over the world attended in 2016. We were happy to be a part of the world’s top PDF event.
Some of the topics explored were: PDF in the mobile device context, Accessible PDF/UA documents and forms, Responsive PDF, Electronic invoice solutions and a complete review of the DRUPA fair.

PDF Days Europe will be in Berlin again on May 15th and 16th, 2017. Hope to see you there!
Graph Expo – Orlando – September
A must-attend industry event, Graph Expo this year presented a number of innovative solutions, new applications and networking opportunities, plus more than 40 educational and technical sessions. We saw a lot of our industry partners and associates there; like BCC, Compart, Canon, Ricoh, Konica Minolta, and many more. In fact, there were a total of 13,447 registrants, including exhibitors and attendees!
This conference was a great success for Eclipse. The show floor was amazing and included specialty features, like the “House That Print Built”, the Inkjet Candy Store and Materials Matter, among many others.
Next up from Graph Expo is Print 17 in Chicago, September 10th-14th. It looks like another must-attend event!
Oracle OpenWorld – San Francisco – October
Oracle OpenWorld is quite an event. As an Oracle Gold Partner, we were proud to be one of the many partner and customer exhibitors. There was so much to see and do at the Big Data Showcase. It was also really cool to have some of the work of the next generation of programmers, coders and engineers showcased at the Design Realization Garage. We learned a lot at Oracle OpenWorld and saw amazing new innovations but we also had loads of fun!

We can’t wait to see what Oracle has in store for OpenWorld 2017, again in October in San Francisco.
East Coast Oracle Users Conference – Raleigh – November
East Coast Oracle Users Conference is a collaboration of several user groups including the Virginia Oracle Users Group, the Eastern States Oracle Applications Users Group, the Hampton Roads Oracle Users Group and the Southeastern Oracle Users Group. It is one of the largest and most economical Oracle user conferences on the East Coast, with over 300 attendees, targeting both technical and functional Oracle users. You can find Managers, Directors, DBAs, Developers, Application Users and System Analysts at this conference. It was a great success for Eclipse!

2016 was a great year for conferences in the print industry. We’re already excited about being a part of Zebra NALA Sales Kick Off 2017 in New Orleans, January 30th– February 1st and Collaborate 17 in Las Vegas, April 2-6th.
