Looking Back On a Great Year

‘Tis the season to make predictions for the coming year ahead, and we did our own in our last post with our predictions for 2015. Now we would like to take a moment to reflect on a few of our accomplishments from last year.

Mele Printing

In February, we were proud to announce that Mele Printing, the largest commercial printer in the greater New Orleans metro area, selected DocOrigin to support their document generation services. The company needed to consolidate several disparate systems acquired during company mergers and replace outdated legacy document generation systems that were about to be sunset. According to IT manager Kenny Burger, “Jobs that were taking us over an hour to process have been streamlined down to five or ten minutes.”  Listen to the complete interview.

QAD Success

February also saw DocOrigin gain the attention of several large, global QAD ERP customers as a solution of choice for large manufacturing organizations needing to upgrade their document generation systems in a QAD environment. Global manufacturing companies like Eaton, ABC Inoac and others find that DocOrigin is the perfect choice because it is tightly integrated with the QAD enterprise resource planning system. Click here to see the complete announcement in the Los Angeles Daily News.

SharePoint Integration

In April, ProTechnology, a leading integrator of document automation tools, selected DocOrigin to integrate with their suite of document management software solutions, providing a much needed connector to Microsoft Sharepoint.  The connector, called JetTrac SharePoint Upload, integrates DocOrigin with the company’s popular JetTrac solution and gives users the ability to easily port transactional documents like invoices, statements and other correspondence into SharePoint. Click here to read the complete announcement.

BMS Direct

October rang in the fall with great news that BMS Direct, a leading provider of billing, statement and invoice processing services for utilities and businesses in the North East, adopted DocOrigin to replace older, end-of-life systems and support their fleet of Konica Minolta printers. According to Leif Aagaard, VP at BMS, the company had been searching for some time. “We’d been looking for a couple of years to find a replacement for our legacy software called System 1032. DocOrigin was the most robust, and we feel like this a product we can live and grow with.”  Listen to the complete interview.

A New Year, New Opportunities
