Collaborate 2019 was a blast!
We were excited to be a part of Collaborate19 April 7-11 in San Antonio, Texas. There were so many great speakers, sessions and events for thousands of Oracle users and experts to be a part of and choose from this year.
This is always a super event for Eclipse, but this year we made a ton of new friends and were able to show so many people what DocOrigin and Business Communications Center can do for your customer, employee, vendor communications!
We also made a lot of people happy with great prizes from the Questopoly game and drawings in the Exhibitor Showcase. It was great to see you all! We’re already looking forward to next year!

Xplor19 exceeded our expectations
Xplor19 was April 23-25 at Mandalay Bay, Las Vegas and it was action packed. We are still celebrating from all of the excitement! We were notified beforehand that we were an Honorable Mention for the 2019 Xplor Application of the Year Award in conjunction with Legal and General America and Protechnology and that we would be receiving a plaque for that great honor at the Ceremony on Tuesday, April 23rd. Eclipse helped Legal & General put DocOrigin and Business Communications Center in production and consolidated data streams, implemented multi-channel print and digital document delivery, and added customer engagement capabilities and centralized document management. The result of their DocOrigin implementation included an 80% reduction in development and processing time as well as 60% lower document maintenance costs. A total ROI was also achieved in less than 12 months.
We are so thrilled to announce that we also had the honor of celebrating our CEO & Founder, Steve Luke for receiving the Brian Platte Lifetime Achievement Award that night as well! What a wonderful surprise! The Brian Platte Lifetime Achievement Award was established in 2007 and is given to an individual, or individuals, whose efforts and contributions have significantly changed the course and development of the digital document industry. We also had Leslie Conduitt there for Eclipse presenting Best Practices for Migrating to a New Document Output. As companies migrate their legacy document output software to newer solutions, their first instinct is to use the “quick & dirty method” of straight form to form conversion. However, this is an opportune time to take advantage of new features that reduce document maintenance and development, enhance marketing, and streamline processes. Leslie discussed concepts including; managing changing information outside of the form, selecting tools that migrate old form templates to a 90%+ starting point, inserting relevant marketing messages, taking advantage of open source technology and converting static documents into dynamic structure.
