PDF/A-3 Release January 2018
Eclipse flagship products DocOrigin, Business Communications Center and Dynamic Business Documents now produce PDF/A-3 which acts as a packet that contains all the documents and supporting files needed. For instance, in production, if your ERP, MRP, HRP, CRM package is producing invoices, the invoice produced in PDF/A-3 can contain the matching PO and any other files in the native file format, i.e. doc, docx, xls, tiff,… so all the relevant supporting documents for the Invoice are in a convenient PDF packet. This would prevent the company receiving the document from having to search for relevant information or documents, which may delay the payment of the invoice. Watch for details in a press release later this month.

New Eclipse website
In 2017 we debuted our new website at EclipseCorp.US. Our designer, Tammy Zink, did a beautiful job giving us a new, state-of-the-art home on the web. Featured in our upgraded site are a number of exciting content areas, starting with a new testimonials page, an Industry Solutions page that lays out all the services we provide across multiple industries, a large variety of form samples and plenty of new advice to leverage the advanced features of DocOrigin, DocWizard and our Customer Communications Center. Our popular blog page got a face lift as well, and continues to present twice monthly articles on topics ranging from business intelligence, customer experience, enterprise forms and printing… and much more. If you haven’t already, be sure to take a look and let us know what you think!
Eclipse Corporation announced the acquisition of OF Software Ltd. of Canada, creators of DocOrigin software.
DocOrigin is an enterprise software solution used to design, present and deliver mission critical business forms, documents, labels and checks. Eclipse has led the global sales of DocOrigin since 2011. Our success with customers like AT&T, GE, Guidewire, Konica Minolta, Pella, PPG, Tyler Technologies was the driving force in our decision to acquire OF Software. We plan to use the experience and knowledge we have gained in North America to help our global partners expand the footprint of DocOrigin worldwide. Exciting EMEA Partner Training
We were very excited to get together with our EMEA partners in late September. We held DocOrigin training sessions in Dusseldorf, Germany. In attendance were team members from Apto Solutions, Contraste Europe, Ecodocx, Oberon, Exictos, Tagnile Oy, Eclipse EMEA and of course Eclipse Corporation. We shared some new and exciting DocOrigin capabilities with our partners and spent some time out of the office together. It was a great week of knowledge sharing and team building. Eclipse-EMEA is actively looking for new partners and OEMs to expand the footprint of DocOrigin in EMEA.
